1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. They are used to remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and collect analytics information. Gleampses uses cookies for these purposes.
2. Types of cookies we use
Essential cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary for Gleampses to function. They enable authentication, security, and core features such as session management. Without these cookies, the service cannot be provided.
- gleampses_session — Stores your authenticated session. Duration: session.
- gleampses_cookie_consent — Records your cookie consent preference. Duration: 1 year.
Essential cookies do not require your consent under the ePrivacy Directive (Art. 5(3)) because they are necessary for the service you have requested.
Analytics cookies
These cookies collect information about how you use Gleampses — which pages you visit, how often you use the app, and where you encountered the service. This data is aggregated and anonymous; it cannot be used to identify you. It helps us understand what is working and what needs to be improved.
Gleampses does not currently use any analytics cookies. If this changes in a future update, they will only be loaded after you give explicit consent via the cookie consent banner. You can withdraw that consent at any time by clearing the "gleampses_cookie_consent" cookie or by adjusting your preferences below.
3. How to manage your cookie preferences
When you first visit Gleampses, you will see a cookie consent banner asking you to choose your preferences. After making a choice, your preference is stored in the "gleampses_cookie_consent" cookie for 1 year.
To change your preference after your first visit:
- Via the footer link:Click "Cookie Settings" in the Gleampses footer to reopen the consent banner and change your preferences.
- By clearing cookies:Clear the "gleampses_cookie_consent" cookie in your browser settings — the consent banner will reappear on your next visit.
- By contacting us: Email info@gleampses.com with your request.
Note: If you disable analytics cookies, you will still be able to use all features of Gleampses. Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in.
